Weekly E-News from St. Peter's UCC

E-News for Friday, May 8, 2020

Dear Friends,

In our Gospel lesson for Sunday, Jesus tells us not to let our hearts be troubled and to believe in him. During this time of pandemic, this is so important. It is so easy to let our hearts be troubled. No matter what is happening Jesus is there guiding us with love and preparing a home for us with God.

At St. Peter’s we are preparing to return to worship in our sanctuary. There is a lot to do and consider before we reopen. We are looking at guidelines from the state and our denomination. We will do our best to keep you informed as to when we will reopen, and about the social distancing measures that will be in place to keep us safe. I will let you know more in next week’s mailing.

As part of our gradual reopening, I plan to have office hours this week on Tuesday and Friday from 9am to Noon. If you would like to stop by the church during these times, I welcome you. I am praying for you. If you need me for anything, please call my cell phone number
