Weekly E-News from St. Peter's UCC

Weekly E-News for Friday, February 14, 2020

Dear Friends,

Happy Valentine’s Day to you! Today is a day when we celebrate love. Most often the focus is on romantic love, flowers cards and chocolate. l would like us to expand those loving thoughts to include our love for God and people who aren’t our romantic partners. Our scripture passages this Sunday include verses that are challenging. The passages call on us to love God with our hearts, minds, souls and actions. In choosing to love God and follow in God’s ways we are choosing life. (Deuteronomy 30:15-20) This Valentine’s Day choose to love God and share that love.

Please remember to check your email before leaving for church on Sunday to learn if church has been cancelled. You may also check the website at https://www.stpetersowensville.com/.
